Official Requests for Tournaments/Exhibition Games

SMHA does not assign officials for tournaments/exhibition games.  If you are in need of SMHA officials to work your tournament or exhibition game, we will send an email out to the officials with your tournament/game information once our league games have been assigned for that same time period and they will contact you if they are available.  We do not distribute our officials contact list as most of our officials are minors.  

Please provide the following information to smha.assign@gmail.com:

- Tournament/Exhibition game Sanction Number

- Level

- Dates

- Location

- Contact email address

your team will then be responsible for paying cash to the officials at the rink for their game/tournament fees.  Click here for a guideline of SMHA Honorariums.  If the tournament or game is out of town you will also need to pay mileage of $0.50/km both ways.  Providing food & drink to the officials during a tournament is also A nice gesture of appreciation.
